How to Check Your Balance and Pay a Negative Balance

Your GoPeople Runner balance reflects earnings, deductions, and any outstanding amounts related to your deliveries. If your account shows a negative balance, you may still be allowed to work, but it’s important to resolve it promptly to avoid restrictions.

🔍 How to Check Your Balance History

To view your current balance or review past transactions:

  1. Open the GoPeople Runner App

  2. Tap on “Account”

  3. Tap the “$” (dollar sign) icon

  4. Select “Account History”

You’ll see a full list of transactions, including job payments, deductions, and other activity. This helps you understand how your balance became negative and track your financial history with GoPeople.

💵 How to Pay Your Negative Balance

There are three ways to clear a negative balance:

1. ✅ Complete New Jobs

  • You can continue working while in negative balance (within the allowed limit).

  • Any earnings from completed jobs will automatically go toward reducing your negative balance.

  • The allowable negative balance varies depending on your experience and history with GoPeople — experienced Runners may be allowed a larger buffer.

2. 💳 Credit/Debit Card

  • Go to your Account History page in the app.

  • Tap the “Make a top-up” button.

  • Follow the instructions to securely complete your payment via card.

3. 🏦 Bank Transfer

  • You can also pay your balance by bank transfer.

  • GoPeople’s bank details are provided in the email notification about your negative balance.

  • Please refer to that email for instructions and reference details.

📝 Important Notes

  • A negative balance may limit your ability to accept new jobs if it exceeds your allowed threshold.

  • We strongly recommend resolving your negative balance as soon as possible to maintain full access to delivery opportunities.

  • If your balance reaches a critical limit (e.g., beyond -$100), your account may be temporarily restricted until the balance is cleared.
