How to Update a Delivery Address?

We understand that mistakes can happen when placing an order. If you need to update your delivery address, here's what you should know depending on the type of correction required.


1. Minor Corrections (Street or Unit Number Only)

If the address only needs a small fix — such as correcting a street number, unit/apartment number, or minor typo — we can help right away.

✅ What to do:

  • Leave a note to the driver via the tracking link provided in your confirmation message.

  • Or, contact GoPeople Support via Live Chat or via email

Our team will update the street/unit number on the system, and your delivery will continue without interruption.


2. Major Errors (Completely Wrong Address)

If the delivery address is completely incorrect (e.g. the wrong suburb or postcode):

❌ What to do:

  • Immediately message the driver via the tracking link, or

  • Reach out to GoPeople Support via Live Chat or via email

In these cases, the driver will be instructed to return the item to the dispatch location, and the Sender will be notified for further action.


3. Changing Delivery to a New Address

If you'd like to redirect the parcel to an entirely different location, this can only be done through the Sender.

🔄 What to do:

  • Contact the Sender directly and request an address update.

🚫 GoPeople cannot change the delivery address on your behalf without the Sender's explicit permission. This is to ensure both privacy and order security.

Once approved by the Sender, GoPeople will:

  • Attempt redelivery on the same day, if possible, or

  • Reschedule it for a future date according to Sender instructions.
