How to BigCommerce: Sync orders from BigCommerce via the GoPeople plugin

Before we start, you will have got the BigCommerce plugin successfully installed.

Once the BigCommerce Plugin has been installed and set up correctly. The "GoPeople delivery" option will be available on the checkout page. 

Syncing orders automatically

  1. Click on settings from the left navigation of the GoPeople dashboard and click on Shopping Cart Integrations.
  2. Click on the BigCommerce icon. 
  3. Check the ‘Enable synchronising orders from BigCommerce’ tick box on the BigCommerce Integration page and set your syncing criteria. You can select "Pull all orders from BigCommerce" to sync all orders from BigCommerce; or you can enter the shipping name(s) you use in BigCommerce to match the orders you want to sync.
  4. Your orders will be synced automatically and displayed on the “Orders from carts” page in the GoPeople dashboard. You can then choose a service to book the jobs from there. 

Please note: when orders are booked into GoPeople services, it will NOT update the order status in BigCommerce by default. If you want to update the status as “Shipped” after jobs are booked in a GoPeople service, please check the “Update order status in BigCommerce to 'Shipped'” box.
