If your WooCommerce site’s domain has changed, the Go People Shipping Method plugin must be properly uninstalled and reinstalled. However, simply removing the plugin from the GoPeople Members Area may not be enough — especially if the domain has already changed, as GoPeople can no longer communicate with the old site to complete the removal.
In this case, you’ll need to manually delete the associated REST API credentials and Webhooks in WooCommerce to fully disconnect the plugin before reinstalling it under the new domain.
🔧 When Does This Apply?
This process is necessary if:

You've already changed your WooCommerce site domain

You tried to uninstall the Go People plugin via the GoPeople Members Area

But WooCommerce still shows the plugin as "connected" or synced
🧾 Steps to Manually Remove the Plugin from WooCommerce
1️⃣ Delete the REST API Credentials

Log in to your WooCommerce Admin Dashboard

Navigate to:
WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API -
Find the API Key titled:
“Go People Shipping Method - API Read/Write” -
Click “Revoke” to deactivate it
✅ This breaks the API connection with the old domain
2️⃣ Delete the Webhooks

In the same section, go to:
WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → Webhooks -
Look for these three Webhooks:

GO_PEOPLE_SHIPPING_METHOD_ORDER_CREATED

GO_PEOPLE_SHIPPING_METHOD_ORDER_UPDATED

GO_PEOPLE_SHIPPING_METHOD_ORDER_DELETED

Click “Delete permanently” for each
🧹 These Webhooks sync order events. Deleting them finalises the plugin removal.
✅ What to Do After Cleanup
Once the REST API and Webhooks have been removed:

Go to your new site and install the Go People Shipping Method plugin again

Reconnect it using the GoPeople Members Area
