CBD (Central Business District) bundle runs require faster navigation, strong situational awareness, and confidence with city traffic and parking rules. To maintain smooth operations and protect delivery efficiency, GoPeople requires Runners to complete a CBD Survey and meet some basic experience criteria before being approved for a CBD run.
π What Is the CBD Survey?
When you apply for a CBD bundle run, the system will ask you to complete a short survey.
This helps us assess whether you are ready for CBD delivery work.
The survey will ask questions like:
-
Do you understand how CBD drop-offs work?
-
How often do you complete CBD deliveries?
-
What vehicle do you drive?
-
Do you know where and how to park in the CBD?
-
Are you familiar with high-density delivery locations such as office buildings, loading docks, and shopping plazas?
This survey must be completed honestly β it helps us ensure that CBD runs only go to drivers who can perform them safely and efficiently.
π Vehicle Requirements & Parking Rules
The CBD environment is very different from standard residential work. Parking rules and access restrictions vary by street, and knowing how to park correctly is essential.
Vehicles Allowed in Loading Zones
-
Vans
-
Utes
These vehicles can legally use Loading Zones for quick CBD drop-offs.

Small Cars
-
Cannot use Loading Zones
-
Must follow standard parking rules only
-
Must park in legal street spaces or paid parking
The ability to park quickly and safely can significantly impact your delivery speed and efficiency.
π How We Decide Who Gets a CBD Run
Before approving a Runner for a CBD bundle run, we check:
1. Your CBD Delivery History
-
If you have completed CBD on-demand jobs successfully in the past, you will have a higher chance of approval.
-
Newer Runners can still qualify by taking several CBD on-demand jobs first to build experience.
2. Your General Delivery Performance
CBD deliveries require a high level of skill.
To qualify, Runners must consistently deliver 10β20% faster than the EWT set for non-CBD deliveries.
This shows you can handle the pace required in the CBD environment.
3. Your CBD Survey Answers
If your responses demonstrate:
-
Strong knowledge of CBD procedures
-
Confidence with city driving
-
Understanding of parking rules and restrictions
β¦you are more likely to be approved.
4. Your Vehicle Type
While not mandatory, Runners with a van or ute have an advantage because they can legally use loading zones.
Small cars can still do CBD runs β but only if the Runner demonstrates strong CBD knowledge and past performance.
βοΈ Summary: What Experience Do You Need?
You donβt need years of experience β but you must show that you can safely and efficiently perform CBD work.
You should be able to:
-
Understand CBD delivery procedures
-
Navigate high-traffic streets
-
Park safely and legally in the city
-
Follow Loading Zone rules
-
Complete deliveries faster than standard EWT
-
Have some prior CBD delivery experience (recommended)
-
Drive a van or ute (helpful, but optional)
If you meet these expectations and complete the CBD Survey successfully, you are ready for a CBD bundle run.
