If the goods in any of your deliveries become damaged or lost, you can put in a claim for their declared value.
By “declared value”, this means the estimated value of the goods and doesn’t include any margin you may make on the item. In most cases, this will be the cost price.
We understand that, at times, it may be difficult and time-consuming to calculate the value of your goods, but FreightSafe needs proof of your product's worth before they can process your claim (or, in other words, give you back some money).

To make a claim, you have to do two things:
- Fill out this form 2. Send FreightSafe a copy of the relevant receipt(s).

Filling in the form is pretty straightforward.
This section is the most complex part of the form. It may look daunting, but attempt to complete the information as accurately and quickly as possible. For instance, perhaps something similar to the following:

If possible, attach an invoice/receipt (such as the one you gave to your customer) and a picture of the item, and your claim should be processed in no time.
