How GoSAMEDAY Works
GoSAMEDAY operates using scheduled booking cut-off times throughout the day.
When you place an order, it will be allocated to the next available cut-off. After the cut-off, GoPeople groups orders into optimised delivery runs and assigns them to Runners for pickup and delivery.
Cut-Off Times
The following cut-off times apply across all GoSAMEDAY service areas from Monday to Friday:
10:00 AM | 11:00 AM | 12:00 PM | 1:00 PM
Orders booked after a cut-off will be allocated to the next available cut-off.
For example, an order booked at 10:30 AM will be allocated to the 11:00 AM cut-off.
Saturday
There is one GoSAMEDAY cut-off on Saturdays:
11:00 AM
Pickup and Delivery Service Levels
Our GoSAMEDAY service targets are:
- 80% of orders are picked up within 1 hour of the applicable cut-off time.
- 95% of orders are delivered within 4 hours of the applicable cut-off time.
For example, if an order is allocated to the 11:00 AM cut-off, we aim to have:
- 80% of orders picked up by approximately 12:00 PM
- 95% of orders delivered by approximately 3:00 PM
The 4-hour delivery timeframe is a 95% service level, not a guaranteed delivery deadline for every order. Some deliveries may take longer due to factors such as traffic, delivery distance, order volumes, Runner availability or other operational conditions.
What Happens if a Delivery Takes Longer Than 4 Hours?
If an order is not delivered within the 4-hour service level, the Runner will continue with the delivery.
Runners generally aim to complete deliveries before the receiving location closes or becomes unavailable.
The following delivery times apply as a general guide:
- Residential / Apartment / Hospital: Deliveries can be made until 7:00 PM
- Business: Deliveries can be made until 5:00 PM
- School: Deliveries can be made until 2:00 PM
Customers should select the correct location type when placing an order so the Runner is aware of the appropriate delivery timeframe.
If a location has an earlier closing time or specific receiving requirements, please include these details in the delivery instructions when placing the order.

- Brisbane
- Adelaide
- Perth
Service availability depends on the pickup and delivery locations.
