๐ŸŽฏ Overview

When contacting GoPeople Support, you may be asked to provide a reference number so our Support Team can quickly locate the correct Run, job, or parcel.

Depending on what you need help with, Support may ask for a:

  • Shift/Timeframe Number
  • Run Number
  • Job Number
  • Tracking Number
  • Consignment Number
  • Internal Reference Number

You can usually find these details in the GoPeople Runner App or directly on the parcel label.

๐Ÿ“ฑ A. Finding Reference Numbers in the Runner App

1๏ธโƒฃ Open My Jobs or My Runs

Log in to the GoPeople Runner App and:

  1. Go to My Jobs or My Runs.
  2. Find the relevant active job or Run assigned to you.
  3. Tap the job or Run to open its details.

2๏ธโƒฃ Open the Relevant Job or Run

Select the active job or Run you need help with.

The details displayed will depend on the type of work assigned to you.

๐Ÿ’ก If you're contacting GoPeople Support, keep this screen open so you can easily provide any reference numbers requested by the Support Team.

3๏ธโƒฃ Find the Shift/Timeframe & Run Numbers

Under the business name or job type, you can find the relevant Shift/Timeframe and Run information.

Look for:

  • ๐Ÿ• Shift/Timeframe Number โ€“ starts with S
  • ๐Ÿšš Run Number โ€“ starts with R

These numbers are especially useful when your enquiry relates to an entire Run or timeframe rather than one individual parcel.

4๏ธโƒฃ Find the Job Number

For an individual job, look for the Job Number.

A Job Number consists of approximately 15โ€“16 digits and may be displayed with a hyphen.

For example:

12345678901-1234

๐Ÿ“Œ If your issue relates to a particular delivery or parcel within a Run, Support may ask you for the Job Number rather than the Run Number.

5๏ธโƒฃ Check Other Run & Job Details

Depending on the job or Run, the Runner App may also display information such as:

  • ๐Ÿš— Car Type
  • ๐Ÿ†” Run ID โ€“ for example, N-102
  • ๐Ÿ“ Delivery Area
  • โฐ Timeframe Type โ€“ such as a Delivery or Sorting Run

These details can also help Support identify the correct assignment.

๐Ÿ’ก Tip: When contacting GoPeople Support, provide the specific reference number requested by the Support Team. This helps us locate the correct job or Run more quickly.

๐Ÿ“ธ My Jobs Tab

The My Jobs section can be used to locate the relevant job and its reference information.

Example: Locating the relevant job from the My Jobs tab.

Example: Job details showing the available reference numbers and other job information.

๐Ÿ“ธ My Runs Tab

If your enquiry relates to a Run, open My Runs and select the relevant active Run.

Example: Locating the relevant Run from the My Runs tab.

Example: Run details showing the Shift/Timeframe, Run Number and other Run information.

๐Ÿท๏ธ B. Finding Reference Numbers on a Parcel Label

If your enquiry relates to a particular parcel, you may also be able to find the required reference directly on its parcel label.

1๏ธโƒฃ Check the Parcel Label

Carefully check the label attached to the parcel.

The information available will depend on whether the parcel uses a GoPeople label or a label supplied by the Sender.

2๏ธโƒฃ Check Around the Barcode

On a GoPeople label, reference information may appear below or near the barcode.

Look for:

  • ๐Ÿ†” Internal Reference Number
  • ๐Ÿ”ข Barcode
  • ๐Ÿƒ Run ID
  • ๐Ÿ“‹ Job Number

When contacting Support about a specific parcel, provide the reference requested by the Support Team.

๐Ÿ“ฆ Sender-Provided Labels

Some parcels use labels created by the Sender rather than a standard GoPeople label.

If you have a Sender-provided label:

  • Check all available information carefully.
  • Look for tracking, consignment, order, job, barcode or other reference information.
  • Provide the reference requested by GoPeople Support.

โš ๏ธ Important: Sender label formats vary, so reference numbers may appear in different locations or use a different format from a GoPeople label.
