How to GoBUNDLE: set up Runner pickup passcodes

2 min. readlast update: 01.24.2025

Runners are allowed to remove items on the Runner app if the packages are not found or not ready before starting the deliveries. However, some Runners may not check with onsite staff before removing them, leading to items being left behind.

To help prevent this, you can set up a Pickup Passcode. This feature locks the Runner's screen when they attempt to remove items. They can only proceed with the delivery after you approve it and enter the passcode on their app.

To set this up, go to Settings and navigate to the "Pickup Passcodes" section. Click the "Create a Pickup Passcode" button.

Choose the dispatch location where you want to enable this feature, tick the "Item Remove Check" box, enter the passcode, and click Save.

When the Runner tries to remove items before starting the delivery, they will see a locked screen. To allow them to proceed, enter the passcode you just set.

If your parcel label includes barcodes and you need Runners to scan them to pick up orders, there's an option to help prevent them from picking up the wrong items due to misplacement.

Enable the "Additional Item Check" by ticking the option to turn on this feature.

When Runners use the barcode scanner in the Runner app during pickup, if they scan a barcode that doesn't belong to their assigned Run, their screen will be locked. They will need to return any incorrectly scanned items to the staff and allow them to enter the passcode to unlock the screen and continue.
