🎯 How to Select Your Preferred Delivery Types (Flower/Cake, Parcel, Grocery)

GoPeople offers three different types of deliveries for bundle runs: Flower/Cake, Parcel, and Grocery.
To ensure you receive only the job notifications you want, you can set your preferences directly in the Available Runs page.

Once you save your selections, you will only receive notifications for the delivery types you choose.


1️⃣ Types of Deliveries


🌸 Flower / Cake Deliveries

Flower and cake deliveries require extra care due to their fragile nature.

Characteristics:

  • Items are fragile or temperature-sensitive

  • Must be handled gently

  • Ideal for runners who can transport delicate goods safely

πŸ‘‰ Package Size & Weight:

  • Cakes: usually packed in boxes similar to a shoe box

  • Flowers: vary in size

  • A sedan or hatchback can generally hold 15–20 items


πŸ“¦ Parcel Deliveries

Parcels vary widely in shape and size. The two common types are:

1) Carton

  • Box-shaped

  • Can vary in size and weight

  • Easy to stack or organise

2) Satchel

  • Soft, flexible packaging

  • Lightweight

  • Quick and easy to deliver

  • Ranges from envelope-size to briefcase-size

  • Maximum weight: 20kg, though 95% weigh under 3kg

  • A sedan or hatchback can usually carry 50–60 items


πŸ›’ Grocery Deliveries

Grocery deliveries may contain:

  • Fresh food

  • Drinks

  • Household items

Notes:

  • Some bags must be placed carefully to avoid spillage or crushing

  • Runs often include multiple bags or packages per customer


2️⃣ How to Set Your Delivery Filters

Follow these steps to make sure you only receive job notifications that match your preferences:

  1. Open the GoPeople App

  2. Go to the Available Runs page

  3. Tap the Filter option

  4. Select the delivery types you want to receive:

    • Flower/Cake

    • Parcel

    • Grocery

  5. Save your selections

Once saved, the app will notify you only about the run types you selected.
