🚀 6 Simple Steps to Become a GoPeople Runner
Step 1: Personal Information
Public Information

Profile Photo: Upload a clear selfie. A friendly face helps build trust with Senders.

Display Name: Use a professional name. This is the name Senders will see (avoid aliases like KingKyle666).

About You: Tell us a bit about yourself—your current occupation and whether you have any courier experience.

Title: You can earn badges like 10000 Delivered, 5000 Delivered, and Top Ranked. Selecting a title helps Senders understand your experience level.
Private Information

Legal Name: Your full name as shown on your driver’s license.

Email Address and Home Suburb: We use your home suburb to suggest jobs near your location.

Billing Address: Optional, but recommended for invoicing purposes.
Step 2: Enter Your ABN
As a GoPeople Runner, you're an independent contractor, so you’ll need an Australian Business Number (ABN).
If you don’t have one yet, you can apply for free at abr.gov.au.
📝 You’ll be asked to enter your ABN during the sign-up process.
Step 3: Take a Selfie with Your Driver’s Licence
We require identity verification for the safety of our Senders and Recipients.
You’ll need to:

Take a clear photo of your driver’s licence

Record a short video selfie (this is to confirm your identity using facial recognition)
Make sure both are well-lit and clearly visible to avoid delays.
Step 4: Vehicle Information and Insurance

Let us know what type of vehicle you drive (e.g., hatchback, sedan, van) and its cargo size.

Upload a photo of your vehicle.
Insurance Details

Choose your insurance type.

Provide your insurance provider, policy number, and expiry date.

Upload your insurance document.
🚨 Third-party car insurance is mandatory for all Runners.
Step 5: Pass the Online Runner Quiz
We want every Runner to be well-prepared. After reviewing our training materials in the app, you’ll take a short quiz covering:

Delivery procedures

Safety and communication

Using the Runner App correctly
✅ You need at least 90% to pass, but you can retake the quiz if needed.
Step 6: Complete a Demo Run
Once you pass the quiz, you’ll be guided through a Demo Run inside the app.
This is a practice delivery that lets you:

Simulate job acceptance and navigation

Learn how to check in, pick up, and mark deliveries

Get comfortable with the GoPeople workflow

🧪 No real deliveries are involved, and it’s a great way to test your understanding before going live.

Once you complete all 6 steps, your application will be reviewed by our team.
If everything is in order, you’ll be approved and can start accepting jobs immediately through the app!
