How to Use the Waiting Button

The Waiting Button lets you record waiting time when you arrive at a pickup location on time but the items aren’t ready yet. Correctly recording waiting time ensures you’re paid the applicable Waiting Fee.

⚠️ Some Senders (e.g., Woolworths) have special Waiting Fee terms and conditions. Always check the job details for specific rules before starting.


📌 When to Use the Waiting Button

Use the Waiting Button only when:

  • You’ve arrived at the pickup location on or after the booked ready pickup time.

  • The items are not yet ready for collection.


📲 How to Find and Use the Waiting Button

  1. Open your run or job in the GoPeople App.

  2. Tap the “Actions” menu.

  3. Select “Waiting” from the list.

  4. Choose the reason for your waiting time.

  5. Tap “Confirm” to record your waiting time.


⚠️ Important Notes

  • Be honest – Only press the Waiting Button when you are genuinely waiting for items.

  • 🚫 No false claims – Submitting inaccurate waiting claims may lead to penalties or removal from the platform.

  • 🛒 Special terms – Some Senders (like Woolworths) may have different fee rates or conditions. Always check your job details.
