Setting your Estimated Pick-Up Time (ETA) is a small but crucial step that helps GoPeople and Senders know you're ready and on track. It ensures smooth operations and avoids confusion or cancellations.
🚚 Why Setting an ETA Matters
🟦 For Bundle Runs
-
You’re expected to arrive at the Sender’s location 10 minutes before the shift starts
-
If you don’t set your ETA:
-
The Sender and GoPeople Support won’t know if you’re aware of the start time
-
This can lead to unnecessary follow-ups or cancellation of your run
-
🟨 For On-Demand Jobs
-
You’re required to pick up the job within 60 minutes of accepting or being assigned
-
If you don’t set an ETA:
-
GoPeople Support may think you’re not responding
-
The job might be relisted and offered to another Runner
-
🧭 How to Set Your ETA in the App
-
After accepting a job or being assigned a bundle run, open the job in the Runner App
-
Find the section labeled “Estimated Pick-Up Time (ETA)”
-
Tap “Set” on the right-hand side
-
Choose the time you expect to arrive at the Sender’s location
-
Confirm — you're done!
📌 Tip: Set your ETA immediately after accepting any job or run. It shows you’re prepared and avoids delays or miscommunication.
By setting your ETA quickly, you're helping:
-
📦 The Sender prepare for your arrival
-
📞 Support avoid unnecessary contact
-
💼 Yourself maintain a strong, reliable profile as a Runner
