GoPeople offers two main types of delivery opportunities:
- ๐ฆ Bundle Runs
- ๐ On-Demand Jobs
While both involve collecting and delivering parcels, the way payments are calculated is different for each. Understanding these differences will help you better evaluate job opportunities and understand your earnings.
๐ฆ Bundle Runs
Bundle Runs are pre-planned delivery routes that contain multiple deliveries grouped together.
Payments for Bundle Runs are based on Estimated Working Time (EWT).
โฑ How Is EWT (Estimated Working Time) Calculated?
GoPeople uses a range of data sources and operational factors to estimate how long a run should take, including:
- Google Maps historical travel data (not real-time traffic conditions)
- Estimated time required at each pickup and drop-off
- Delivery complexity (e.g. CBD deliveries, hospitals, shopping centres)
- Special operating conditions (e.g. major events, weather impacts)
- Historical delivery performance data
These factors are combined to calculate the estimated time required to complete the run.
Your payment is then calculated based on this Estimated Working Time.
๐ต Minimum Pay Protection
All Bundle Runs are subject to a Minimum Pay policy.
This means:
- If the payment calculated from EWT is higher than the minimum amount, you will receive the higher amount.
- If the payment calculated from EWT is lower than the minimum amount, the minimum amount will apply instead.
This helps ensure Runners receive fair compensation, even when a run contains fewer deliveries than expected.

๐ On-Demand Jobs
On-Demand Jobs work differently from Bundle Runs.
These are individual delivery requests that are priced dynamically in real time, similar to ride-sharing platforms.
โ๏ธ How Are On-Demand Job Payments Calculated?
The payment offered for an On-Demand Job is determined using a combination of factors, including:
- Pickup location
- Drop-off location
- Delivery distance
- Delivery complexity
- Current Runner availability
- Current delivery demand
- Market conditions at the time the job is created
Unlike Bundle Runs, there is no EWT-based payment calculation for On-Demand Jobs.
๐ Why Does the Price Change?
On-Demand pricing is generated dynamically based on real-time supply and demand.
As a result:
- Similar jobs may pay different amounts on different days
- Prices may change throughout the day
- Higher demand or lower Runner availability may increase the offered payment
- Lower demand or higher Runner availability may reduce the offered payment
This is normal and reflects current market conditions at the time the job is offered.
๐ค Which Payment Model Is Better?
Neither payment model is inherently betterโthey simply suit different working styles.
๐ฆ Bundle Runs
Best for Runners who:
- Prefer pre-planned work
- Like completing multiple deliveries in a structured route
- Want minimum pay protection
๐ On-Demand Jobs
Best for Runners who:
- Prefer flexibility
- Want to choose jobs
- Like responding to real-time delivery opportunities
Understanding how each payment model works will help you make informed decisions and maximise your earning opportunities on the GoPeople platform. ๐๐จ
