Using the Break Feature During a Bundle Run

If you're completing a Bundle Run and need to take a short rest, the GoPeople Runner App allows you to use the Break feature without disrupting your workflow. This ensures that you're able to pause responsibly while maintaining delivery efficiency.

⚠️ Note: The Break feature is only available for Bundle Runs. It is not available for On-Demand jobs, as those are limited to specific delivery windows.


🛠 How to Take a Break

  1. Open your active Bundle Run

  2. Tap the “Action” button

  3. Select “Break”

  4. Choose your Break Duration and Break Reason from the list


⏱️ Break Duration Rules

Run Duration Break Time Allowed
6 hours or less One break of up to 20 minutes
More than 6 hours Multiple breaks allowed, up to 1 hour total

✅ Make sure to return from your break promptly to stay on schedule and maintain good delivery performance.


Available Break Reasons

When selecting a reason for your break, you can choose from:

  • Lunch

  • Dinner

  • Snack

  • Smoke

  • Pray

  • Other


▶️ How to Resume Your Run After a Break

Once you're ready to continue:

  1. Open your Bundle Run

  2. Tap “Action”

  3. Select “Continue” to resume your delivery run

You can then proceed to complete your remaining deliveries as normal.


Tips for Responsible Break Use

  • Only take breaks when it's safe and appropriate to do so

  • Avoid taking breaks near urgent deliveries or high-traffic periods

  • Let the system know why and for how long you’re pausing — it helps us manage delivery expectations with Senders and Recipients
