As a GoPeople Runner, whether you can view a recipient’s phone number depends on the Sender’s privacy settings and the job status. This article explains when contact details are visible - and when they are not.
🔐 Sender Contact Settings (Important)

Senders can choose whether to show or hide a recipient’s contact number

If the Sender hides the number, it will not be visible at all stages of the delivery, regardless of job status
- If the Sender chooses to show the number, it will follow the below rules
🚚 Picking Up / 🚗 Delivering stages
Contact number is visible

You may call the recipient to coordinate pickup or delivery

Always communicate professionally and only about the delivery
✅ Completed stage
Contact number is still visible

The number remains visible shortly after completion

Jobs are automatically moved from Completed to Closed after approximately 48 hours
🔒 Closed stage
Contact number is hidden

Once a job is closed, all recipient contact details are automatically removed

You can no longer view or contact the recipient
⚠️ Disputed stage
❌ Contact number is immediately hidden

As soon as a job is marked as disputed, recipient contact details are removed

No further contact with the recipient is allowed and needed
- GoPeople support team will be involved in all communcations

If follow-up with the recipient is required, do it before the job is closed

❌ Do NOT contact recipients after a job is Closed or Disputed

Contacting recipients after this point is strictly against GoPeople policy
