You may notice a timer appearing in your Runner App while completing a job or run. This is normal and usually happens when certain features are activated.

Here are the most common reasons:

⏳ 1. Waiting Time

If you tap the “Waiting” button at a pickup location:

  • A timer will start automatically to track your waiting time
  • This ensures your waiting time is recorded for payment purposes

✅ What to do:

  • Once the items are ready, tap “Stop”
  • The timer will disappear

☕ 2. Break During a Bundle Run

  • A timer will appear to track your break duration

✅ What to do:

  • When your break is finished, tap “Continue”
  • The timer will stop and disappear

❓ Not Sure Why the Timer Is Showing?

  • Check if you have activated:
    • Waiting mode, or
    • Break mode

If neither applies and the timer is still showing, please contact GoPeople Support through the app.

✅ Summary

The timer is there to help:

  • Track your waiting time for payment
  • Track your break time during runs

Using it correctly ensures accurate records and fair compensation.
