Why You’re Not Receiving Runs from a Sender You’ve Worked With – Understanding Preference Tiers

If you've worked with a Sender before but are no longer receiving their Bundle Run notifications, it could be due to your Preference Tier status. Each Sender has their own preference tiers.

GoPeople provides each Sender with a tool called Preference Tiers that allows them to control which Runners get notified about their jobs first. This ensures only the most reliable and high-performing Runners are prioritised for their deliveries.


🔢 How Preference Tiers Work

Senders assign Runners to five tiers (Tier 1 to Tier 5) based on their performance, reliability, and previous delivery history.

Run Notification Priority Order

Tier Notification Access Notes
Tier 1 & Tier 2 First to receive notifications Reserved for favourite, top-performing Runners. These Runners can accept and secure jobs right away.
Tier 3 & Tier 4 Receive notifications later These Runners must apply, and an Admin must approve the application before the job is secured.
Tier 5 No notifications sent Used for Runners with poor history — such as frequent cancellations, lateness, or negative feedback.

🔼 Even within the same tier, Runners are ranked. Those with stronger performance will receive notifications slightly earlier than others in the same group.


Why You May Not Be Receiving Jobs from a Sender

If you’re not seeing jobs from a Sender you’ve worked with before, it may be because:

  • You've been placed in Tier 5 due to past issues (e.g. cancellations, lateness, poor communication, or negative ratings).

  • You're in Tier 3 or 4, and other Runners in Tier 1 or 2 claimed the job before it reached your tier.

  • Your ranking within your current tier is lower than other competing Runners.


How to Improve Your Preference Tier Status

To move up and receive more job notifications from Senders:

  • 📦 Complete jobs reliably and avoid cancellations

  • ⏱️ Be on time for every pickup and delivery

  • 💬 Maintain clear, polite communication with Senders and recipients

  • 🌟 Aim for high feedback and ratings

By consistently performing well, you’re more likely to be moved into a higher tier, giving you earlier and more frequent job opportunities.
