To ensure all orders are picked up correctly and efficiently at Woolworths stores, please follow the Handshake Pickup Procedure below.

✅ What is a “Handshake” Pickup?

The Handshake function is used to confirm that all items for an order have been collected from the store. This helps prevent missing parcels and ensures proper tracking.

🔄 How to Use the Handshake Barcode

  1. Wait for the Store Staff to Prepare the Order
    Do not proceed until Woolworths staff have confirmed that the entire order is ready.

  2. Check All Items Carefully
    Before confirming pickup, make sure that all parcels listed for the order are present.

  3. Scan the Handshake Barcode

    • Ask the staff for the Handshake barcode.

    • Use your app scanner to scan the barcode.

    • This will officially confirm that you’ve picked up the order.

📝 If There is No Handshake Barcode Available

In some Woolworths locations, the staff may not have a Handshake barcode. In this case:

  1. Double Check All Items

    • Manually verify that all listed items are present.

  2. Tap ‘Pickup’ in the App

    • Click or swipe he ‘Pick up’ button in the job list to confirm pickup.

  3. Do Not Leave Until Fully Confirmed

    • Make sure nothing is missing before you leave the store.
