How to Register as a Runner with GoPeople

At GoPeople, we’re committed to working with reliable, professional Runners who deliver great service. To ensure that, all new Runners must complete a 6-step registration process before they can begin accepting jobs.

This guide walks you through each step of the process and provides helpful tips to set you up for success.

🚀 6 Steps to Complete Your Runner Registration

✅ Step 1: Personal Information

📢 Public Information

This is visible to Senders:

Profile Photo: Upload a clear, friendly selfie.
Display Name: Use a professional name (avoid nicknames like “KingKyle666”).
About You: Briefly share your background and any delivery experience.
Title Badge: Select a title like 10,000 Delivered, Top Ranked, etc., to showcase your experience.

🔒 Private Information

Used for internal and compliance purposes:

Legal Name (as shown on your driver’s licence)
Email Address and Home Suburb
Billing Address (optional but helpful for invoices)

✅ Step 2: ABN & GST Information

As an independent contractor, you must:

Provide a valid ABN (Australian Business Number)
Enter your full name or business name
Select whether you're registered for GST

✅ Step 3: Vehicle & Insurance Information

Select your vehicle type (e.g. hatchback, sedan, van)
Enter the cargo size
Upload a photo of your vehicle

📄 Insurance Details (Mandatory)

Select your insurance type
Enter your provider, policy number, and expiry date
Upload a copy of your insurance policy

🚨 Third-party car insurance is mandatory for all Runners.

✅ Step 4: Licence & ID Verification

Upload both sides of your valid driver’s licence (must be in English)
Upload a second form of ID (Medicare card, passport, or birth certificate)
Record a video selfie, reading a code shown on your screen

Review the materials in the Runner Knowledge Base
Complete the Onboarding Quiz
➤ You must score 90% or above to pass
➤ You can retake the quiz if needed

✅ Step 6: Complete a Demo Run

Before going live, complete a Demo Run inside the Runner App:

This is not a real job and is not paid
It helps you get familiar with the App and the delivery process

Open your Runner App
Head to the ‘Browse’ section to view available jobs
